Cambodia After Vietnam

BREATHING KHMER follows a small group of Cambodian Buddhists who attend the Nagara Dhamma Temple. The film reveals their stories of survival from the Khmer Rouge holocaust and how cultural unity and Buddhism brings healing to their lives.
As the head teacher of the Southeast Asian Refugee Program in Oakland, we would sometimes visit the Nagara Dhamma Temple. The temple itself was truly an invitation for me to see this culture through a very different light.  BREATHING KHMER is a very well done video, sharing insight into the transitions of refugees here in the SF Bay Area. Thank you for watching.
